Getting ready to do some planting. Will be cold weather crops but still looking forward to it. Playing in and walking barefoot in the dirt are my favorite sports.
Just watching the none news a little while ago. Two news programs and both have nothing new except the missing airliner. What a waste of my time.
If a bill fails we need to set a time limit before any more like bills can be introduced. At least a year. That was the limit on anything that failed passage in the council circles I participated in.
Even though I am running for office i am beginning to doubt that is what is needed. Unless we hold a peoples Constitutional Convention or a revolution we are not going to change our government for sale mentality at all levels.
Seeing as how the attempt to hold Wall Street accountable for our current mess was met with coordinated force, I doubt the police/military would allow any major change. Not unless they saw the pay and benefits they have start to go away. this is happening.
DC is so used to getting away with lying all the time, I doubt if any except the lowest levels of government even knows what truth is. Don't expect truth from the President or any Congressional leader. In fact don't expect truth from any member of either major party.

Thoughts
How many people running for office are asking others what they need from the various levels of government?
Does anyone really think that religious freedom gives the right to impose their beliefs on others? My thoughts are the same as if you punched me or my sisters in the nose. Your rights end at my skin. Neither I nor none believers, different religious groups nor individuals who walk their own path should have to submit to your beliefs. The only people who should follow your religious beliefs are the people of your religion.
I just received a robocall pitching something. How many people have been interrupted by such calls. How many people are tired of somebody trying to sell them something they neither want or need? If I read a newspaper or magazine I can ignore the sales pitches, if I listen to the radio I can ignore the sales pitches, If I watch TV I can mute the commercials, How do you ignore a telephone call?
How many rights do we have that are ignored or violated by our government? What about the right to meaningful, paid work for all even the homemaker. How about the right to shelter being guaranteed. what about the right to speak freely and not just in a free speech zone. Even more important is the right to have government at all levels listen not just to the bribers but to everyone.
As for my position on woman's right to choose, it's simple. Three girls 12 and 13 years old were gang raped by among others local law enforcement officers. All three ended up pregnant. One of the 12 year old girls committed suicide. One passed on by bleeding to death from a illegal abortion in a cheap hotel room in Buffalo, NY. The third had her baby before she turned thirteen. She raised a beautiful daughter but had to endure every guy in the county married or unmarried hitting on her until she left home. One of these was a cousin of mine, the other two were neighbors. I can only say that in 1953 that was the only choices these girls had and nobody won except the police who committed the rapes.
If you don't like what is going on in the world including wars, religious persecution, or anything else, don't complain. Get off your butt and do something about it. The biggest danger in the world is the United States Military which enforces the right to salve labor, oil rights and other rights of corporations. If a company can't do business within another nation it's not our job to send in the troops. Let the company fail.

Thoughts
"Do what you love and love what you do."
If we waged peace like we wage war, what a beautiful world this would be. If we treated others with the respect we demand from others many fights would be avoided. When are we going to start?
I have a dog that owns me. He demands love, pets. walks and a warm body to sleep against. However he gives me love and for some strange reason started warning me before I know anything is wrong with me. He can own me forever.
Grandmother taught me to "TAKE THE BEST I FIND IN EVERY CULTURE AND EVERY RELIGION BECAUSE ALL OF THEM HAVE PART OF THE TRUTH BUT NONE HAVE ALL OF IT."
The one thing that keeps tribes, peoples and communities together is the give away. Without giving of self to a shared dream, giving of what is needed by others and accepting their gifts true civilization is impossible.
"The Unite States is the only nation that prints IN God We Trust on it's money and then worships that money."
What can you teach others? How can you bring joy to someone else? What can you create to make your corner of the world brighter? Don't hold back, give your gift to the world and the world will give back to you ten or a hundred fold.

thoughts
Words are mere symbols. If I use elephant do you see a big lumbering
animal or just a word. the same with the word red. How do you process
the word red? do you see just a word (color blind excluded) or does your
memory bring up the color itself? So why the war on such words as God,
Gezus, Allah or even my own term Great Mystery. they all describe a
intangible and unknowable something. As do the words country, state,
nation or kingdom which are no more then exstentions of tribes or
villages. Or the most loaded words of all, Man and woman. these words
characterize the sexual function of people and not the worth,
capability, value or real place in society.
No matter what the drug companies and medical business says remember no drug, no M.D. no nurse no medicine person or therapist has ever cured anyone. all of these are helpers in your quest to cure yourself. all healing after all comes from within. without the will to overcome you never get well.
Why are the antibiotics just increasing the drug resistant bacteria they are designed to kill? could it be that single antibodies are not very efficient. Look at the defense mechanism of both the bacteria and the original sources of our antibiotics, they both have multiple antibiotic strains or agents. So why not on resistant infections use multiple different antibiotics? that way the infection being treated will have to fight off mutiple different attacks. Even drugs that the infection is supposed to be resistant to when used in combination should work together. In my opinion this is just common sense.
People want health care, shelter, food, medical care, education and a sense of purpose or meaningful work. so why are all these things now the dominion of the banksters and wall street racketeers? Why aren't the politicians doing something to remedy this need? All of these things should not be controlled by the crooks of Wall street but a given right of the people. How about a real safety net by paying the producers, the sellers, the cooks, the cleaners and the support people a living wage. Oh I forgot our government is for sale to the highest bidder.

No matter what the drug companies and medical business says remember no drug, no M.D. no nurse no medicine person or therapist has ever cured anyone. all of these are helpers in your quest to cure yourself. all healing after all comes from within. without the will to overcome you never get well.

Ukraine government overthrow
When a phone call was released from one of our ambassadors, I knew we were plotting to overthrow the government of Ukraine. My worst fears were realized shortly after. The people wanted what we all want, to change a corrupt government.
It can be done without violence because otherwise you just change one corrupt government for another. The change has to be done above the level of the government to the people who manipulate our system. They are those who think they are entitled, who think they are better the everyone else, who above all think they own more and need more. Yes the people we have to overthrow are those who think having more, a bigger home, more money and even more control. Come to think of it I guess in the United States that would include all of us to a great extent. Not because of who we are, but how we were raised. So how do you visualize bringing the changes you really want to our government, our towns, our church's, our workplaces or our family?

The change you desire
Everyone except those in power is disgusted with our Congress and our President. We have exactly the same remedy available to us today as the rich did with the Constitutional Convention. We can rewrite our form of government to ensure that it serves human beings instead of bank accounts. All it takes is a few brave people to call a convention, show up, discuss the changes we desire and then take the agreed on changes back to the states to ratify. No secret discussions, no hidden agendas and above all no politicians may attend.
